BRIGANCES OF COOKSON

I am seeking information on a Clan of Brigances who lived in or around Cookson, Oklahoma in around 1915 thru the 1920's. The mother was Phebe Ann (Fyby) Brigance (Maiden Name Unknown)born about 1850, the widowed wife of John F. Brigance (1848-1899), also known as John T. Brigance. At least two of her sons also lived there. Christopher Brigance who lived with his Mother, and Albert Walter who had a family and a place of his own in what my Dad called "Brigance Holler". Albert Walter is my Grandpa. He was married to Cora Lucy PADGETT. He had a large family with 6 daughters, and 4 sons(only two of the sons survived childhood). All the daughters' names started with the letter V. If anyone has any info on this family I would appreciate hearing from you. They relocated to LeFlore County, Oklahoma sometime around 1930. They lived in Shady Point, near Poteau.
