RUBE COPELAND
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for RUBE COPELAND, who died at his home south of Wilson, Sunday morning. MARVIN SMITH of Rubottom officiated the services. Mr. Copeland is survived by his wife, three small children, two sisters and one brother.

April 14, 19138

DAVID N. CROUCH
DAVID N. CROUCH was born Sept. 5, 1861 and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. C. NELSON at Norman, April 7. Surviving are Mrs. Couch, three sons, CLAUDE and CLYDE of Wilson, and LEO COUCH of Kilgore, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. FANNIE RICHARDSON of Marlow and Mrs. D. C. NELSON of Norman. Rev. ROBERT NICHOLS of the Assembly of God Church conducted the services Friday afternoon with interment in the Hewitt cemetery.

Births
Mr. and Mrs. EUGENE WATSON announce the arrival of a nine pound son TOMMY GENE, April 10, at Von Keller hospital in Ardmore. Mr. and Mrs. TOM TODD are grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. FLOYD DAVIS announce the birth of a son, BILLIE RAY, April 5.

Dillard News
Mrs. BILL ORR and daughters NANETTE and MARKEY KAY and CLEDA WILLIS shopped in Ardmore.
J. B. EDGEMAN and PETE BISHOP returned from California.
Mr. and Mrs. LEWIS and family had business in Ardmore.
Miss WILMA MASSEY was sick.
Mr. and Mrs. EDGEMAN and family had business in Ardmore.
Mr. and Mrs. G. H. OVERBY left for Lindsey to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. WELLS.
CHARLES TALLEY and SAM SHEPARD visited Charley’s aunt, Mrs. LAURA SHEPARD at Oklahoma City.
Mr. and Mrs. HARRY PEARCE and son, HARRY LEE, of Olney, Illinois, visited the J. B. PEARCE family at Dillard.
The State Missionary meeting was attended by Rev. and Mrs. FERGUSON, Mrs. E. A VEST and Mrs. BRAZ STAPLES of the Dillard Methodist Church.

ATLAS MARY WALKER
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Methodist Church at Oil City for ATLAS MARIE(?) WALKER and her infant daughter who passed away at Phoenix, Arizona, April 7. Surviving are her husband, HYMAN/HERMAN WALKER and two children. Minister TOM SMITH of Healdton conducted the services with Richeson funeral home in charge.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. HACKER were hosts at an Easter dinner and family reunion Sunday. Attending were: WILL HACKER, LUCY HACKER, PANSY HACKER, PAULINE HACKER, MILDRED HACKER, MAXINE HACKER, J. L HACKER, ALICE HACKER, Mother HACKER, JAY HACKER, WOODROW HACKER, ALICE DAVIS, TOMMIE DAVIS, ELVIA DAVIS, CARL DAVIS, ODAR TURNER and GOLDIA GURNER of Dallas, Texas. WILLIE HACKER and SARAH ANN HACKER, CORNIE RICE, Mrs. ORA WELLS, DOROTHA and JUNIOR WELLS.

GEORGE WILLIAM MCCABE
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for G. W. ‘RILEY’ MCCABE, resident of Wilson many years, who passed away Saturday afternoon after months of illness. Mr. Cabe was born July 21, 1882 near Boggy, Indian Territory and departed this life at age of 55 years, 9 months, two days. For years Mr. McCabe was connected with a bus line from Ardmore to Comanche. In 1903 he married EVIE VIRGINIA WILSON and to this union seven children were born. Surviving are Mrs. MCCABE, CHARLES W. of Wilson, HOMER T. and ALVIN ‘DOC’ of Ardmore, FRED of Ada, Mrs. GEORGE WALK of Healdton, Miss PEARL who is a teacher in the Wilson school, and Miss IMOGENE of Ardmore. One granddaughter MARY ANN
