Okay, that would put his death date about May, June, July 1923. That will give me a time frame anyway.

Just being curious about your post, I will look through the Healdton papers tomorrow when I go to the library. It may be if he died in a fire, it might be one of the fires for which I am looking - you never know.

You have to understand also that during that time frame there were two towns that sat right square dab in the middle of the oil fields (Wirt and Healdton) so when a fire started, it was very difficult to stop it. You have to keep in mind when a well came in it was a gusher and the oil went everywhere. One time burned several times - for some strange reason Healdton seemed to survive. The other town did not - it was absorbed by Healdton.
