There was a Wilson paper, a Healdton paper, and a Ringling paper (these were small weekly papers). Then there was the Daily Ardmoreite (Ardmore).

You have to keep in mind that there were fires all over the place back then (I just happen to be researching oilfield fires in the Healdton-Hewitt field in that time frame).

You also have to keep in mind that due to WW I and the flu that swept the country shortly before that time there were so many deaths, that unless they were a prominent person or unless it was a particularly gory death, they may not have been mentioned in the newspaper.

I'm still researching the fires and if you could give me a possible month, I will keep a watch out for the name.
