My maternal grandfather:
<> Name: James Patrick MULLEN
<> Born: 4 AUG 1891
<> Place: Wishaw, Scotland
<> Parents: James MULLEN & Catherine FAGAN
<> Religion: Roman Catholic
<> Arr.USA: 18 APR 1910 (SS Furnessia)
<> Married: 12 FEB 1912
<> Place: Manchester,Bennington, VT
<> Military: US Army (20 years)
<> Stationed:
1. Fort Reno, Canadian Co.,OK (a farrier, 1930)
2. Fort Sill, OK (?)
<> Died: 4 MAY 1981
<> Place: New Port Richey, FL
I`m trying to learn more about Grandpa`s Army years. I assume that James MULLEN joined around 1915-1916 in New York. In a 1924 photo, he is a US Army corporal. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can learn more about his US Army days?
