An update on Taylor Carlile's death date and place.....I just found an Ohio Death Index record showing that Taylor Carlile died on 29 Mar 1938 in Greenfield, Highland County, Ohio.

One thing I've noticed, this family virtually disappeared from the records from 1880 until 1910....Can't find any of them on the 1900 Census and of course, the 1890 records don't exist due to a fire.....so sometime between 1880 and 1910 Taylor moved his family from Searcy, Arkansas to Canadian County, Oklahoma?? The 1910 shows Taylor, widowed, living in Maple Township, Canadian County, OK. Living with him then was William, Mary, Charley, Lizzy & Nellie......You're right, where could one have so much fun....and thanks again for all your "fun work" on my behalf.....If you would send me your e-mail address, I'll send you a fun story about my stay in Hinton in May of 1961....and my meeting up with Benner Carlile at his little Rte 66 Gas-stop.....I didn't know that I had met this cousin until 3 years later when I took my mother to see one of favorite cousins....It's a great story..
