So we need to find Mary, Elizabeth/Lizzie and Nellie. Let me check those obituaries. I just wonder where Albie Griffin fits in? Maple is east of Hinton in Canadian county and if that was where he is farming, it would lead us to believe that they were somehow related. I find him with parents John D and Alice V in 1900 in Canadian County. Brothers Hugh, Earl and sister Stella. He is listed as Alva. Oh, how census takers and transcribers can butcher names! In 1900 it is Albia Carlisle and his parents in Paint, Ross County, OH with sisters Minnie and Lubertie.
Guess I won't worry about him, since he must be a cousin. Were John & Taylor brothers?
