Ed Pulliam/Smith born in Kentucky in the 1870's....

I am looking for any information on Ed Pulliam. He was born in Kentucky in the 1870's to Ed Pulliam and Nancy Jane Edgar. Ed died and Nancy and son Ed came to Texas where she married Dennis Grady Smith in Hunt County. Ed was in El Reno, Oklahoma in 1934 when his mother died in Hunt County. I have searched the census but can not find him. My 1920 and 1930 census of Oklahoma are not indexed. Can't find him in the 1880, 1900 or 1910 Oklahoma census. Several of us sure would like to know what happened to him. He may be using his stepfathers last name, SMITH. Any help would be appreciated. Joyce Edgar Phipps
