looking for info on Mary Devine . Family legend had it that sometime between 1870 and 1879 she left/divorced her husband in OH and went west 'on a wagon train' with her three children (census data and her husbands remarriage in 1879 gives us dates) Found a ggg grandson of Mary's who says that she was in OK selling horses to the Indians ,among other odd jobs.I have her in 1900 census living alone in Valley Twp ,Canadian Co and 1910 she is in El Reno OK with a grandaughter Rachael Taylor ( Rachael's mother Louellen was Mary's daughter.Louellen and her husband were both deceased by 1907, in OH.Rachael was sent to live with her grandmother) Mary never remarried . I was wondering if anyone has any additional info on this woman who choose a slightly unusual path?
