My name is Polly Walker. I am doing genealogy research on George W Walker family. He was born around 1838 in Mississippi, married Sarah Ann Nichols in Polk County Arkansas, on 4-20-1861. He died in Caddo Oklahoma on 6-28-1898. They had 6 children. I only know that two of them were born in Oklahoma Indian Territory. Cullen Walker was born around 1869 and Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" was born in March 1867. I am unable to find any information on George W. I know that he served with the Arkansas Confederate Army in Malitia. (i found this in the pension application that Sarah filed in Oklahoma). In 1860 George lived in a household with two families in Arkansas. The Murphy's and the Phillips. I am trying to find any information that I can find about him before his marriage and who his father and mother were. Any help would be appreciated.
