Looking for information on Silas D. Fisher.He emmigrated from MS when the Choctaws moved to the Choctaw Nation in 1830.He became a chief of the third district from 1846-1850.He signed both the Dancing Rabbit Treaty and the Choctaw-Chickasaw Treaty in 1837.He was a capt under Greenood Leflore.He was married to Mary Kelley after returning from school in KY in 1828. Then they moved to OK in 1830.Would like to know more on this family and if they have children. Would like to know when and where he died.Found Mary in Kelley Cemetery in Attala Co, MS under the name of Mary Haley or Maley. Was told that she married James Fletcher, who was chief of the second district from 1838-1842. Then must have married a third time.Any information on Silas or James would be greatly apprecited.
