I am looking at my atlas and will try to give you a better location for 12 Mile Prairie. From Durant go north on Hwy 69/75 to Caddo Turn left (west) on Hwy 22. The first little community you see is Kenefic and the next is Nida which is located at the intersection of Hwys 22 & 78. South on Hwy 78 is the community of Brown. The area in between Brown, Nida and Kenefic is know as Twelve Mile Prairie. The cemeteries used by the people who lived in these communities was probably Oak Grove or Center Hill, both in Atoka County. Both are right on the line of Bryan and Atoka Counties.
I volunteer one day a week at the genealogy and if I can be of further help let me know.
