Mary, I volunteer on Tuesdays at the Genealoty Library in Calera and I think I met you there. Like you I love reading the old newspapers. I just completed a book of extraction of the Bennington Tribune newspaper 1903-11, published by the library. I made ten copies and took eight to the Bennington homecoming last Saturday. I sold all of the within the first hour that I was there and have orders for 15 more. I started this project with the idea that I would publish it and donate the proceeds to our Wade homecoming but soon found out printing it on my home computer was too costly. I ended up with 316 pages and the library published it for $30 which I could not do, even taking it to a copy center.
My next project will be the next reel of the Nennington newspaper and then I was going to start on Caddo, but I encourage you to do that. This preserves our history for future generations.
The next time you are in the library take a look at the Bennington book.
Rozell
