There was a school district 52 Cooper Oklahoma in the late 1800s.......or early 1900s......I have a picture of my grandparents, their siblings and cousins .......on my dads side and cousins to my mothers side...later when she graduated my grandmother was the school teacher for short time........
Cooper was by Seay.........both these towns did not last.....cooper was between Hitchcock in Blaine Co and Loyal in Kingfisher..........there is a West Cooper Cemeter just east of Hitchcock on the blacktop to Loyal Ok.......and then somewhere just off that blacktop is the east cooper...my dad takes care of the west cooper cemetery even though he is 82 years old.........he tried to explain where the east cooper cemetery was......but know there was the school too as the picture says Cooper School distric 52 on it. my parents both mom and dad grew up close to Hitchcock .......mom about 4 miles from the cemetery.
email me direct at clavonec@excite.com if you are still interested in finding this person........look at the Blaine Co Genealogy sites.........they list the postmasters of the old towns too on the Oklahoma site......
