Uncle Nathan Womack (1827-1908)

Seeking descendants of my great grandfather Berry Womack's older brother Uncle Nathan Womack. He was born 22 JAN 1827 in Warren County, TN the son of William and Didama Webb Womack. Migrating to Shelby/Moultrie County, IL as a babe in his mothers arm he was raised in the Sandcreek area of Shelby CO., IL. His first wife was Ann Mariah _______, she was born 27 NOV 1827 in MIss and died 29 JUN 1853, buried in Liberty Cem.Moultrie CO., IL. To this union he had two daughters, Eliza D. (1847-1870), she married to George Stevens. Her orphaned children, Mary Minnie Stevens(1868-1932)she married John Watson Miles and Eddie Stevens were raised in Nathan's household. The second daughter was Sarah E. Womack (1850-1937 married Harrison J. Ledbetter and migrated to Washington State.)Nathan married second to Julia Ann Burns Minks 6 NOV 1853 in Shelby Co., IL. She was the widow of Michael Minks. Nathan and Julia had 5 children..1. John Jesse R.Womack, born SEP 1854, he is enumerated in the 1930 census in Los Angeles, CA, had two known children Paul (1896-1971) and Naomi born 1929. 2. James A. Womack born 1857 and married Margaret. Their son Frank NAthan (1880-1962)raised his family in Blaine County, OK. 3.4. and 5. are daughters Elizabeth, Claresia, and Nettie. From Illinois Nathan migrated to Reno County, KS where Julia Ann died 14 MAR 1887. She is buried in Hazen Cem., Sylvia, KS. Nathan married a third time to E.F. ________. They migrated to Blaine County, OK where Uncle Nathan died 27 OCT 1908 and is buried in Pinkerton Cemetery. Would very much appreciate any additions, corrections, or contact from related persons.
