I'm trying to find information on those buried in the Old Doxey Cemetery. I plan on sharing the information with the libraries at Sayre, Elk City and for one in Roger Mill's County library on the people who are buried in the Old Doxey Cemetery and their families. A lot of the people buried in the cemetery lived at Doxey, Berlin and Sayre areas.
If you have any information you would like to share please contact me. If you have pictures to share I would like to use them with the information.
The Old Doxey Cemetery is really run down and several from Sayre are trying to help get the cemetery back in order.
My great-great grandfather Josephus Beeson is buried there along with his son-in-law Charlie Woods & baby; also a granddaughter Sarah "Sally" Jane (Blanscet) Waits.
