Surprise Cemetery near Elmwood?
Posted by: T. Frey Date: January 01, 2002 at 12:22:32

My family came lived in Beaver Co. from 1909/10 through about 1928. My grandfather was born there. I have a letter my great aunt wrote to my grandfather mentioning their time there. The family homesteaded. The children attended the Hibbs Schoolhouse. They were related to the Tiffin's who had a store. From the census records, I believe they lived in or near Elmwood Township. Duck Pond Creek Farm (their farm?) is mentioned, as are the names of various friends/acquaintances.

Several of my family members (Bullin's and Tiffin's) are buried in "Surprise Cemetery" in the Elmwood/Duck Pond Creek area. Can anyone tell me directions to this cemetery?

Thank you!
Tammy Frey
