Pitner, Thomas E.

Thomas Edgar Pitner was the son of William C. Pitner and Jane E. (Brown) Pitner. William died circa 1881 and Jane died in 1898 in Haskell County, Texas.

Thomas married Nancy 'Nannie' Louise Cathey in 1891 in Haskell County, Texas. They had three children. Thomas was killed in 1899. Nannie remarried, moved to Montana, and was divorced, and remarried again. She eventually returned to Oklahoma and married Thomas P. Cardwell. Nannie died 1961 in Coal County, Oklahoma.

I know there are descendants of Nannie and Thomas Pitner still living in the Coal County area of Oklahoma and possibly Atoka and Pittsburg Counties.

I am wondering if a descendant might know if Nannie kept a bible and would a descendant still have it. I am endeavoring to determing when/where William C. Pitner (father to Thomas E. Pitner) died/buried.

Any information appreciated.
