The cemetery can not be seen from the Hwy. You will have to walk a fence line a good 3/4 mi. to get to it. As you research through cemetery records all over the U. S, you will find a good many old cemeteries were destroyed. I agree it was wrong and should not happen. I have a cousin that has land ajoining the property that the cemetery is in and it is a little easier treking through the field and some distance closer than from hwy 3. I was told there were close to 300 graves, i do not know that for fact.
