Thanks for the information. I took another look at the old marriage license and yes, It could possibly be Byington... The marriage license dates back to 1916, so of course it shows much age!!
Do you have any information on R. H. Byington? Now, that you have pointed out the spelling error, I am wondering if the person could have been the step father of the bride, since the other witness was the father of the groom. I remember my Dad talking about Dick Byington and I now I am thinking it is the same person who witnessed the marriage license. Thanks again, Glenda
