Looking to obtain family documentation on John W. Purdy and his wife Nancy Ferguson Purdy. Per 1920 census Stilwell, Adair County, OK. John W. Purdy was born in New York to parents also born NY. His occupation was that of a house painter. John is a widow and leaving in a boarding house. He is 80 years of age. His wife Nancy died prior to that. She was born 1844 to Thomas Robert Ferguson and Eliza Jane May. The only known child of John and Nancy was Emmett Purdy born 1870 Illinois and died after 1920. His wife was Rhoda. I have interment records for John W. and Nancy but no mention of death dates or parents of John. They are buried in the Stilwell Cemetery, lot 72, row 6, sec 2, grave 1 and 2. Also in same plot is their son Emmett and daughter in law Rhoda. Would like to obtain obituary and death record on John and his wife Nancy. Any help greatly appreciated.
