Hi Vickie: I don't have much on George Tisher and his wife. What I do have is quoted from the book, 'History of Adair County, OK'. It's published by the historical society and each family history in it is writeen by a descendant. Pg. 179 'James Richard 'Jim' Bateman by Bill Bateman
"James Richard Bateman was born to William Justus and Mary Margaret 'Fouts'Bateman on Nove. 2, 1887, IT. etc.... When Jim was thre years old, his father died. After his father's death, his mother remained on the farm until Jim was in his early teens. Then she moved the family to Brushy, a small community in Sequoyah Co. It was while they lived in Brushy that he met Ollie Mae Tisher, Jim and Ollie Mae were married Mar 10, 1907 in Marble City OK. Ollie Mae was born to George Washington Tisher and Susan Margaret (Hulsey) Tisher, June 18, 1890 inCarrolton, ARk.
The article goes on to tell about Ollie and Jim's children.
Nothing more on George.
