Marcus Isler (Eiler, Iler, Ailer Oiler, Hailer)sold Adam Halker land in Dunmore County, Va. in 1773. (Dunmore changed to Shenandoah Co in 1778) "Marcus left this country and died, leaving Adolphus Jonas Isler, his own son, who is living in New Spain" (Natchez Territory)according to court records. Does anyone know the name of the plantation that Marcus Isler sold to Halker?
