Hi. Another contact of mine found a George Ohren on the Canadian Passenger list on the "Sarmation" which arrived in Quebec on 9/7/1872 from Liverpool, England;Londonderry, Ireland. It shows him as aged 21 and travelling with Henry Ohren aged 45.

The only person I can link this to is a George Charles Ohren, son of George Albert Ohren who was Henry's brother. He was born around 1850 and in the 1871 census he was working as a newsagent and living in lodgings in Stourbridge, Staffs. As I've found no other records of him (census, deaths etc) it is feasible he went off to Canada with his uncle in 1872. Other than that I don't have any information on any Georges other than George Albert after 1870.

Hope this helps.
Simon
