Alspach, Reinhard, Hufschmied zu Froschen, ref. Religion, married 29.3.1737 in Eischweiler, Seite 22 Brandstatter Anna Magdalena, wohnhaft zu Eischweiler. Alspach hat sie vorher geschwangert, darum nach der Copulation sie das Land raumen musten. Er ward wieder angenommen, zog aber dann nach Amerika.

There are other Alspach children named in the church book. However, their dates are too late to be the children of Reinhardt and Anna Magdalena Brandstetter. Reinhardt, Anna Magdalena Brandstetter Alspach and Georg left for America in 1738. The dates in the chuch book, commonly attributed to be Reinhard and Anna Magdalena Brandstetter's children, are the offspring of another Reinhard and Anna Magdalena Brandstetter. The children of Reinhardt's siblings are also named and have names very like those of Reinhardt Alspach and Anna Magdalena Brandstetter.
The Stadtarchiv gives the same information as the church.
The church records of Nunschweiler acknowledge the marriage.
A commemorative book marking 300 years of Thaleischweiler history relates the story of Reinhardt Alspach and Anna Magdalena Brandstetter.
