Hi Gail,

Do you know if Margaret's husband was William O'Hearn/O'Hern/Herron? I am looking for a Margaret Plunkett married to William O'Hearn (or various spellings). She was born in 1842 in County Roscommon, Ireland. She had two brothers, John and Patrick and one sister, Mary. Her brother Patrick was my grandfather. They emigrated from Ireland to Canada with their mother in about 1856. Patrick went to Tama, Iowa, probably about 1862, and married there in 1870. Later moving to Eagle Grove, where he died in 1911. Could your Margaret be his sister? The O'Hearn's & Plunkett's were connected to the McDermott's.

If you think there could be a connection, please let me know. You could E-mail me at: cdplunkett@aol.com.

Thank you,

Denise Plunkett
