I am an O'Hara from Australia. Did your John O'Hara circa 1819 have any siblings?
I am a descendent of a Henry O'Hara born circa 1825 in Ireland and his parents were a Charles and Margaret. Henry married in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 1850 and Henry's marriage certificate states that his parents were in Glasgow at that time. Henry migrated to Australia in 1866.
We have never been able to trace any siblings for my Henry O'Hara nor any details for his father Charles O'Hara. Your family and mine seem to have all the same names - Charles, Margaret, Henry, John, James, Thomas and of course, the obligatory Irish female names of Mary and Ellen. Hopefully, we may have some relatives in common.
