Robert J. "Bob" O'Hara of Bensenville The funeral service for Robert J. "Bob" O'Hara, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 1009 S. Church Road, Bensenville, where he will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Gene Birmingham and the Rev. Bob McWilliams will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Northlake. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Road, Bensenville. Born Oct. 10, 1930, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at Bridgeway Christian Village. He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sondra (nee Schopfer) O'Hara; children, Robert J. (Nancy) O'Hara, Ronald R. (Karen) O'Hara, Dawn (Paul) Klingler and Christopher J. (Jaclyn) O'Hara; grandchildren, Kelly, Hannah, Meaghan O'Hara, and Jackie, Cara, Julieanne, Brian and Shawn Klingler; brother, Patrick M. (Sonja) O'Hara; niece, Colleen (Joe) McCollough; nephew, Michael (Dianna) O'Hara; and many cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Immanuel United Church of Christ appreciated.
