Hi Looking for any info on Edward O'Hara born 1887 in Hamilton Scotland. I tried on here in 1999 with no luck but am ever hopeful I will be successful this time. I know from his service records for WW1 that he served in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force from 1915 until his discharge in 1917 after being wounded. He then went to Canada but he possibly moved to America. We also know he died in 1950 but it did not say where he died. Also have a vague story of him sending a ticket for my grandmother in about 1927 when it seemed he was married and had one or two daughters one of them may have been called Elenora? or Leonora? although this information could be wrong with the passage of time. If anyone has anything that can help we as a family would be very grateful.

Good luck with your own searches and I will keep my fingers crossed mine might be successful.
