My Mother's family settled in Belfast around 1869. My GGgrandfather was called John O'Halloran born in the parish of Caherciveen, Co. Kerry, around 1844. His father was called Patrick and had died before John married Elizabeth Carville from Carlingford in Belfast October 1869. John's Children were Patrick born around 1874 (my Ggrandfather), John, Thomas (similar names to your own)and Mary Eliza. I have also found a Thomas O'Halloran from Co. Clare who settled in Belfast in the 1901 Census (Flax Street, Belfast) who may be related. Contact me if you wish to share any information.
