My Grandfather passed away when was quite young, and I wanted to find out a bit about him. I might also have some info to pass along. He was born approx. 1892 in Galloway. He came to the US in the early 1900's. He dropped the "O" when he came to the US. He married Margaret Lowery in Chicago in the late 30's. I know the came to US with two or three of his brothers. One or two of them immgrated to Oregon. He always spoke if a island he could see from his home in Ireland. My grandfather died in 1983. He had two children, Bernadette and James Francis. Just getting started to see how far the connections strech.
