William and Elisha CORBIN - 1850 Census
Posted by: Diana Gale Matthiesen Date: October 14, 2000 at 00:19:20
  of 250

There are two CORBINs in the 1850 Census of Wyandot Co., OH, both in Richmond Twp. They are living next door to one another and would appear to be brothers. I would very much like to know who their parents are. Here are their records:

William Corbin 40 M Farmer Penn
Susan 23 F Ohio
Samuel 10 M Ohio
Samantha 6 F Ohio
Mary T. 4 F Ohio
Keziah 3 F Ohio
Sampson 1 M Ohio

Susan is too young to have birthed Samuel, so William appears to have had an earlier wife. There was a William CORBIN who married a Susana ARCHEBAL on 28 May 1842 in Hancock Co., OH, and this may be our couple -- at least, the names and timing are right.

Elisha Corbin 29 M Farmer Penn
Mary 26 F Ohio
Elizabeth 7 F Ohio
William 5 M Ohio
Mary E. 2 F Ohio
Elisha 1 M Ohio
