Hello, My Great Great Grandfather was a "Dunkard" or German Baptist minister in Wood County.

John W. Rees, and his father as well were German Baptist. They started out in the West Millgrove area then moved to the Cloverdale Road area where the Bridge crosses the Portage. Here a group built the Cloverdale Church, but was shared by several religious groups, which was common in those early days. I hope this helps,, My name is Todd Knauss and my family still lives in the Wood County area. Olive Rees, My Great Grandmother married Clinton Amos.
