Klippels in Wood County

Hello,

I received information that one line of our family lived in Ohio at one time and cousins may still be there. Apparently our Great-great-grandmother, Anna Maria Lang, had two sisters who traveled to Ohio after emigrating from Bavaria and who taught at a school for the deaf (location in Ohio unknown, hints appreciated).

One of the sisters married into the Klippel family who settled in Custar, Wood County. Our family maintained contact with some of these cousins even through the mid-20th century. They included the following Klippels: Fred, Peter, Nicholas (former mayor of Custar), Balbina, Catherine. These were all the children of John Peter Klippel and Mary Frances Long/Lang. I am really very interested in learning about John Peter's parents.

Any information greatly appreciated!
