Using ancestrys 1870 census I searched John Pool. There were two that would fit his age range. (born 1825 ish)There were none in Williams County.
One was a farmer, but none of his children's names matched.
The other was a "common laborer". He was in Ohio - Hardin, Jackson (which is only three counties away) Two of his kids might fit. The ennumerator just used initials for the most part. Here is the listing.
JJ age 45 - head - common laborer - born OH
Wife A.M. - 40 - keeping house - born OH
Mary E age 13
G.W. age 11 (this could be your George 12)
E.A. age 9
Oron W age 4 (this could be your Orin age 5)
Hope this helps
Catherine
