Bill -- Well, I've had some interesting 'chats' since I last posted. First of all I received Louis F. Peugeot obituary -- however, the one I got (January 13, 1933, Bryan Press) contained only five lines and had some incorrect information! It said that he had come to America in 1886 -- which is impossible since my grandmother was born in Stryker in 1880! I also have discovered that there probably are two Louis F. Peugeots! One born in Valentigney in 1841; died in Stryker in 1920 and my Louis born in Valentigney in 1849 and died in 1933.
Perhaps the obit to which you referred (with names of children) is different? Am confused, but it gives me something to do! Thanks for your help! Geri
