Thanks for the info, Joyce! I work 20 miles from Williams County now (though 9-5 so its hard to get to govt offices). I'll look at Gardner cemetery & take pictures to send to you. I found Catherine living w/ Lewis in the 1920 census. I'll look for 1921 obituaries. No; I don't know what happened to the original 1850 census children. Do you have a friend who could scan Catherine's picture onto a computer to send to me? No; nothing I've come across gives the full middle name that begins w/ "L". When was your Charles Ellsworth born & die & how many kids did he have? I'll give you a complete record of the dates & exact places of his Hillsdale County, MI land purchases when I have some free time 9-5.
