There's probably a connection somewhere. The Library in Bryan has a Loutzenhiser genealogy on the early generations. My two particular connections are for Lydia Ann born 10/20/1856 who married Stephen Saunders, and James Ira born 7/9/1872 who married Elva Saunders. Stephen and Elva were brother and sister. I'm trying to get ancestral information on the Saunders line as I'm descended from a brother of these two Saunders.
