I am researching the surname Russell. In the 1850s, several families with this surname lived in Bridgewater or a nearby town.
My ancestor, Jonathan W. Russell lived in Bridgewater about 1852. He was born in Vermont. However, he spent most of his younger days in New York. I am trying to find a connection between him and other Russells who lived in Bridgewater. A couple of these Russell families moved to the same area in Adair County, MO. I think there might be a connection.
