I had my mother check out her 1935 Montpelier High yearbook which has residence information for everyone who ever graduated from MHS until that point. I hoped she would know the Gipes, Rowse's etc. She did say the Rowse's owned the pool hall. (I think they still do). Here is what else she said.

"not much info on Pelier people by those names in the old yearbook. An Edna Zigler?Ziegler graduated in 1926 and an address of Ft. Wayne given for her. A Paul Ziegler graduated in my class of 35, but never came to any of the reunions I attended. The names of Gipe and Guinther are familiar to me, but they didn't necessarily graduate or go to MHS."
