This may be totally off the wall, but Ohio State had a great player named Stillwagon some years ago. I don't know that he came from Williams Co., but I am pretty sure he was a native Ohioan.

My mother taught Latin in Montpelier High School just after she graduated from Bowling Green State University in the early 1940s. I don't recall ever hearing of a college there, but I can't rule it out.
