Montpelier, Ohio - History

Can anyone recommend a history of northwestern Ohio or Williams County that includes Montpelier? I'm trying to find out if there was a school, academy, or college there prior to 1852, in which an educated woman would have been accepted as a teacher.
Please contact me if you have relevant info.
