Karen, I will e-mail more on this family, but I believe that your Mary Jane Swain Miller was a daughter of William and Mary J. Swain who lived in Ashand County Ohio in 1850. William is believed to be a brother to Jacob E Swain, also of Ashland County and also buried in Fairview Cemetery. William and Jacob are both listed from PA. William's other children listed in the 1850 census were Julia Ann, Mary C, Elizabeth, Uriah, John, and Sarah E.
Leslie Ray, "" will do a look-up in the 1870 Ashland County Census for any one who is interested. List: 1. surname, first names of family members, 2. birthdates and possible location, 3. possible spelling variations. I hope this helps!
