Glad I made contact with you despite not finding any known connections. The only thing I have been able to add to the information I sent you earlier, is information on the previously unidentified wife of John Albert Cooper (who lived at Doylestown). He married (unknown date or place) Catherine BOWERS (b. Jun 22, 1824; d. Sep 23, 1877; buried Toledo, OH).
John and Catherine probably had at least two (Louis and Laura) of their eight children while living at Doylestown.
As for your memory of something on a David Cooper, yes, that might have been John's younger brother (my g-g-grandfather). The family did come from PA, with several known or suspected locations there at different times, including Franklin County, and later Mummasburg (near Gettysburg), Morrison's Cove, and Tussey Mountain.
John and David, and their parents (David and Martha) all migrated to Ohio at various times in the 1840s. The younger David, about whom you might have seen something, lived at Millbrook for quite some time, marrying there after his eventful trek west in the California Gold Rush.
If you recall or recover whatever it was you thought you saw about David, I would be interested.
Best of luck to you in your research.
