Fin(d)ley/Williams/Premer in Chester Township

I have some leads in regards to parentage of Joseph Finley (b 1821) who lived in Chester Township, Wayne County, Ohio and married Abbie Premer. Through process of elimination, I have concluded that Joseph came out of Archibald Fin(d)ley's household. Archibald first lived in Perry township, then in Chester township. Archibald's household may have been a combined one, so Joseph could have been a son, a nephew, or even a grandson. In drawing this conclusion, I eliminated the other Fin(d)ley families in the area prior to 1840 and gave special attention to census records, looking for who lived near whom.

It is likely that the Archibald Fin(d)ley living in Wayne County, OH, in 1820-40 was the one living in Huntingdon county, PA in 1790, 1800, and 1810, and that he moved to Wayne County Ohio along with David Williams, Daniel Williams, and allied families, some of whom had come from Centre county, PA. (The keys to the Williams piece of the puzzle lie within the KELLEY family biography in a county history of Erie County, Ohio, and in the fact that Archibald Fin(d)ley and the Williams families were close neighbors in Perry twp, Wayne county, OH at the time of the 1820 census.)

My ancestor is David Fin(d)ley who married Catharine Williams in Wayne County, OH in 1829 and moved his family to Miami County, Indiana, in the 1830s. David was born in 1805 in Pennsylvania, and I believe that he too came out of Archibald Fin(d)ley's household.
