Anthony Stoolmiller was one of 6 children of the Stoolmiller family to settle in the Doylestown, Ohio area.
John was his eldest son and was married twice. Mary Holbyson, his first wife, is burried in Chapel of Cross (United Methodist) cemetery in Canal Fulton Ohio. His second wife Ana May and he are burried in St. Philip & St. James Cemetery in Canal Fulton. He had four children by Mary H. : Florence, Mary Ella (Ellen), John E. and William H. The Stoolmillers were one of the first farmers to settle in the Doylestown area living mostly near the border of Chippewa twp. and neighboring Stark and Summit Counties. I am sure of 12 of Anthony's 14 children and do not have proof of the other two except that the 1900 census states that they had 14 children.
