Washington County, Ohio History & Genealogy LINKS Web Site (Moved & Updated)
I'm now in the process of moving and updating the LINKS website.Even though you can still access the old site, I am making it "much better" in ways that you can find what you are looking for by putting each category on different pages, then putting the links in ABC order.
I am taking off the dead links, and will be doing the same with the surname registry index.Once I get to the surname index, I will email everyone. If their email comes back to me as undeliverable, they will be removed.I look to have this all completed within the next 2-3 weeks.
Bookmark the new site, and check it every day.I've been working on it with every bit of free time I get...which is usually in the evening or late at night when the kids are in bed. The site has been driving me CRAZY as it is now, and I'm sure it has been very frustrating for some researchers when trying to find things.
I have so much more stuff to add to the site, such as new links, and photos, early mills, Green(e) marriages, township histories with geographical information, plus a whole lot more.I also have a full CD of Headstone pics that Julie Witkowski sent me to put online.
Click the link below for a sneak peak of the new & approved site....PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IT'S NO WAY NEAR COMPLETE.I have to move each link......Take off all dead links......And last but not least, make it more appealing to researchers.By the time it is finished, I hope it will be much better for everyone.
