Greg, Thanbks for your reply. I know our Asa Brown is buried at Friends Cemetery near South Lebanon. He is from New Jersey, but that is where we are stuck. We do not know his parents or where in New Jersey he is from. The marriage record from Warren County does not list parents and I could not find anything in War of 1812 for him. I just do not where to go because he was born in 1782 before birth certificates. Sue
