Stephen Taylor born in Maryland about 1801 and Susanna Murphy born in Virginia about 1805 married in Warren County Ohio April 22, 1823. A Stephen Taylor shows up in Jefferson, Wayne County, Indiana in the 1850 census, along with son Columbus. By the time the 1856 census was taken, they have been living in Jasper County, Iowa for about a year (http://iagenweb.org/census/jasper/1856-IA-jasper-fairview.txt) with Eliza A., James, Columbus, Jane, and Bell. All of the children were born in Virginia, which puts everyone in Virginia from 1826 to 1846.
