The last name is spelled so many different ways: VanLear, Vandleer, Vanleir and even his forst name has been found as Bernard. B. 1803 in Pa. He lived in Warren County, however moved to Benton County, Indiana where he died, his tombstone is spelled Vandleer. Son Isaac is beside him.
